Fast service. Spacious restaurant. The food , was rather bland. I asked for my Danzak to be hot. I couldn't taste any heat at all. All in all. Quite nice.

We visited the Mango Tree while staying in Kirkby Stephen, we had the pickle tray, tandoori mixed grill, dansak and rice. It was fantastic, it was one of the best Indian meals I’ve had. Definitely worth a visit. Reasonably priced too.

Came here for Saturday evening meal. Lucky to get a table as it was pretty full at 7.30pm. Great selection of quite unusually dishes to choose from their special menu, so we selected some poppadoms and a main course each plus a beer. The service was excellent - fast and accurate, so received our meals quickly and the quality was also great. They did not do ice cream as a dessert, so you need to go elsewhere if you want this. Overall cost was around £25-30 per person, so quite good value.

We both had excellent meals. My chicken pakora starter was different from normal. Thin strips of chicken coated in breadcrumbs. Different but tasty. The main courses were rich and spicy without being too hot. All in all a top notch meal
